The Pedder Johnson Transfer Belt (Gait Belt) has 6 vertical handles that enable caregivers and clinician to safely transfer and support individuals by providing several holding positions. It suits patients who are not able to support themselves, as this helps patients to get up/sit down and get up from the floor. These are worn around a patient’s waist and their purpose is to put less strain on the lumbar spine of the caregiver who supports the patient. This is made of washable nylon which makes it durable.
